    Interesting blog. Pat from Cork looks like quite a character. 🙂

    But shouldn’t your blog title be ‘1167 And Counting’?

    The first Norman landing was in the summer of 1167, as a force had accompanied Diarmaid Mac Murchadha on his return to Leinster.

    Glad you find our wee blog interesting : sure we’d be lost without supporters like you. And Pat is indeed a character as , I suppose , we all are , in one way or another.
    And the blog is titled such in ‘honour’ of Strongbow : it’s the least we can do for the man…
