Assorted ‘goodies’ – and the three raffle prizes.
Mini-Santa shimmies down the fence for a sly hot whiskey…
Santa had his bell-chimer robbed by the political police as he entered the Swim site. That was because there was a shortage of Grannies for the thugs to beat up.
‘BOYCOTT SHELL’ poster at the Swim site.
Three prizes leaves seven ‘unprized’ swimmers !
Mini-Santa gets hugged to bits !
Mini-Santa eats and drinks his fill- then goes home ‘by the fence’ !
” If ya get in again, I guarantee ya…..
…that you’ll be on the front page of this paper next issue!”
Having sold all his papers , Santa goes back to keeping the CABHAIR swimmers warm with our National Flag !
“Get dry quickly , lads . Only 12 months to go ’till the next one…!”
We have posted a few paragraphs about this CABHAIR Swim on our ‘Blogspot’ site (post dated Saturday 26th December 2009) plus two links which will take you to more Swim pics , taken by Paula and Oxana.
Thank You for taking the time to view our blog posts re the 2009 Swim , thanks also to our ten swimmers , the hundreds of people that came out in support of CABHAIR – and a big ‘Go Raibh Maith Agát’ to our POW’s , who unfortunately couldn’t be with us in person , but were every step and swim-stroke beside us in Spirit.
Slán go fóill anois , agus Nollaig Shona agus Athbhliain faoi mhaise daoibh!
Sharon.
